"You've got to be kidding right?!"

I uttered those very words about six years ago, before I became a life & health insurance agent, when I was running into seemingly every obstacle with my insurance agent.

Obstacles you may have encountered with your old or current agent/agency.

You know the obstacles, no return telephone calls, limited business hours (leaving you wondering just how many traffic laws you'd have to break, in order to make it to your agents office before they hung the closed sign-five minutes before the posted closing time.

Or the poor knowledge that the question you have about your deductible when your sitting in the emergency room friday night, will have to wait the weekend, until the agent's office reopens on monday morning at 9:00 am-after the emergency, & after the treatment), or the feeling that its "agent in charge" & not you, & that your there to work on his time, under his terms (the list goes on & on).

Fed up of being treated like a faceless number, or worse, a commission statement, I sought to find better, more. My quest led me to the creation of my own agency. It just made sense. I would make standard, what at the time, I perceived to be a luxury:

• The ability to get a hold of your agent after hours (without breaking any traffic laws). True, I get less sleep, but I sleep better knowing that I've helped someone
• Putting the client-YOU-back in charge. That's right, we work FOR you. You tell ME what to do, and we do our best to get it done.  
• Provide superior products. We at Cover Your Assets Insurance only sell carriers that we feel comfortable selling to ourselves, families & friends, the tried & true. Not who pays out the biggest commission.

Who Am I

A small town guy with big dreams.

After graduation, I spent ten years in the U.S. NAVY, receiving many accolades. Before my honorable discharge in 1998, my last duty station was at the United States Naval Academy, as an instructor of engineering. 

During that time I met & married my gorgeous wife De'Maris. An intelligent,  creative, outgoing, & loyal woman, who helps me reach my goals. We've been happily married ever since.

We are also the proud parents of a beautiful bouncing baby boy Italian Greyhound "Prince Maximus, and an adorable Chihuhua "Sir Knight Lancelot Protector of the Prince".
